One of the most significant moments of the agenda was the meeting held with the President and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), Mr. Curtis LeGeyt, and with NAB Senior Vice President of State, International and Board Relations, Ms. Susan Keenom.

During the meeting, strategic issues related to the future sustainability of the radio and television business were discussed, including the need to modernize copyright regulations and investment protection frameworks in Latin America in order to foster economic growth in the region, as well as the importance of strengthening the defense of freedom of expression and democratic values throughout the continent.

IAB also reaffirmed its commitment to continue promoting regional spaces for cooperation and strategic intelligence in order to collectively address the challenges arising from digital transformation and the growing competition posed by global streaming platforms.
